How do I take Emergency Contraceptives?

It is a single pill you take by mouth. It must be taken within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex or birth control failure to help prevent pregnancy. The sooner you take it, the better it works.

It is for a woman who has had unprotected sex or birth control failure within the last 72 hours (3 days) and wants help preventing pregnancy. The sooner it's taken, the better it works.

What is the Effectiveness Statistics of Emergency Contraceptive?

Remember that the Effectiveness of Emergency Contraceptive is directly related as to when the medicine was taken. The effectiveness goes down with every day that passes. As per study in US, if taken within 24 hours, 95% effectivity. If taken between 25 to 48 hours, 85%. Within 48 to 72 hours, 58% effective. If above 5 days, only 25% effective.

How will I know if it worked?

You’ll know it worked when you get your next period, which should come at the expected time or within a week of that time. If your period is more than a week late, do take a pregnancy test.

When is it not appropriate to use Emergency Contraceptive?

  • If you're already pregnant, because it won't work
  • If you're allergic to levonorgestrel
  • In place of regular birth control, because it’s not as effective
  • If you're male
Can I use Emergency Contraceptive as my regular birth control method?

It should not be taken as regular birth control. It is s not as effective as using a regular birth control method correctly and consistently. It is a backup method to be taken if your regular birth control fails, or if you have sex without birth control.

If you have unprotected sex after taking Emergency Contraceptive, it will not prevent you from getting pregnant.

How often can I use Emergency Contraceptive?

It should only be taken when emergency contraception is needed (when your primary birth control method fails or you forget to use birth control). You can take it when you need it, but remember that it should never replace regular methods of birth control, as it isn't as effective.

What is the difference between PLAN B and MY WAY?

Plan B and My Way have the same ingredient. The only difference is the branding. Plan B is branded and My Way is generic. Generally the rule of the thumb is, if you are brand conscious go for Plan B. If you are price conscious, go with My Way.

What are the side effects?

As with any medicine, Emergency Contraceptive Pill has side effect. Most common are earlier or later period, likewise it can be heavier or lighter. One may also experience Nausea, Cramping, Vomiting and Breast Tenderness. 

Is there any age restriction as to who may take Emergency Contraceptives?

Just as long as you have your period, Emergency Contraceptive can be taken already.

Do I need a prescription for this?

No, we don't require prescription from any Physicians, Doctors or OBGyne.

Can breastfeeding women use this product?

Yes, you can use Plan B when you are breastfeeding. In general, no harmful effects have been found in breastfeeding performance or on the health, growth, or development of the infant.

What mediciations are not allowed after taking Emergency Contraceptive Pill?

Medications that may make Plan B less effective include: barbiturates, carbamazepine, felbamate

How fast do you deliver?

 We do SAME DAY Delivery for Metro Manila, Greater Manila and Selected areas of Pampanga and Batangas.

We don’t have a specific or guaranteed delivery lead time as this is dependent on distance, rider availability, weather and traffic conditions; But generally it should be more or less around 2 Hours for Metro Manila, 3 to 4 Hours for Greater Manila and 4 to 6 Hours for Pampanga and Batangas.

What is your Delivery Hours?

How much is the Delivery Charge?

Delivery Charge are as follows:

(1) Flat rate 100php for paid in advance Metro Manila

(2) Flat rate 200php for Cash on Delivery

(3) Greater Manila and Selected areas for Pampanga and Batangas, actual delivery charge

I am not comfortable to have my order delivered at my house! Now what?

We can actually deliver in any public areas such as malls, restaurant, coffee shops. Any where in the metro just as long as you give us a correct address.

What are your payment options?

We have made it convenient! We accept CASH ON DELIVERY, BPI & BDO Bank Transfer, Credit Card or Paypal, GCASH, Paymaya

Note: Cash on Delivery is available only for Metro Manila 

Is this in Discreet Packaging?

Absolutely YES! We use a non-discreet packaging for your absolute privacy. Likewise, couriers are not aware of the content inside so you don't have to worry.
